The owners wanted a larger kitchen, plain and simple.

The dropped ceiling hid the need to relocate a poorly placed waste line and create a unique recessed ceiling detail over the new island.

An 8’-0” bump out was added to enlarge the kitchen.  With careful planning, the new roof and the existing utility room came together effortlessly.

The small, existing space left little room to cook and entertain. Appliances moved to create an extra serving area as well as maximized storage and functionality.

Decorative elements accentuated focal points and matching appliance panels, fluted columns, rosettes and grape appliqués allowed the owners to show their personal style.
